The dangers of Smoking

          Smoking is a nasty habit because it has many dangerous effects. However, people are becoming addicted to it. They no longer can quit smoking.
         In fact, the number of smoking victims is becoming more and more important. Tobacco, indeed, causes asthma, lung cancer, breathing problems and heart diseases. It also can lead to death.
In addition, smokers have a bad smell, which is unbearable; therefore people usually don’t want to stay with them.
Besides, smoking is expensive. Heavy smokers have to pay thousands of dollars, Euros, or dinars a day on cigarettes.
         Smokers are destroying their health and they are conscious of all these harmful effects!! They know that smoking kills still because of their addiction to it they find it difficult to give up and quit this deadly habit.

Dangers of Pollution

Our mother Earth is facing a lot of environmental problems and people, animals and plants suffer.
In fact, the air we breathe is polluted with smoke from factories and vehicles. The sea is also polluted with oil spills and chemical wastes and as a result, sea life is endangered.
Besides, pesticides used in farming poison the land and the plants which  result in poor health because of food poisoning. In addition, many people suffer from headaches and sometimes deafness caused by the noise in over-crowded cities add to this many serious illnesses like cancer and heart diseases which have become very common these days and which lead to lots of deaths.
Moreover, the hole in the ozone layer, which is the result of toxic fumes, is an alarming problem as it leads to the rise of temperature or global warming.
for all these reasons, we should be aware of all these dangers and it is our duty now to stop polluting the earth and to adopt a friendly behaviour to protect ourselves, plants and animals.

Chris’ adventure

One day, Chris, a rich man, found a magic map on the beach. He was surprised. On the map, there was indicated the place of a treasure. He was so happy. Chris decided to sail and search for the treasure. In the morning, he took a small boat and started his sea adventure. 

On his way he saw many dolphins and fish. Suddenly he saw a big shark following his boat. Chris was very afraid of the shark and threw all his food to the animal. He had a narrow escape. 

After one day, he found the island. It was a very frightening one.  While he started walking around, following the indications on the map, he heard a sound. It got nearer and nearer to him. Finally, he could see what it was: it was the pirates. Chris was so scared. The dangerous men saw him and wanted to catch him and kill him because he discovered their secret. When they caught him, Chris told them he came to the island to look for a treasure and showed them his map. The pirates were so happy and freed Chris in return of the treasure.

Thus, Chris returned to his boat and ran away of the island back home. He was too tired and unhappy. But most importantly, he was empty-handed.
